Ready for Life has been selected as a State Farm Neighborhood Assist® Top 200 Finalist
Largo, Fla. (April 22, 2022) Ready for Life needs your help by voting for them to receive a $25,000 grant from State Farm® to help improve their community. Starting April 27 at 12:00am ET, U.S. residents who are 18 and older with a valid email address can vote for their favorite cause at www.neighborhoodassist.com.
Ready for Life has until May 6 at 11:59pm ET to rally votes, and anyone voting is allowed up to 10 votes per day. The top 100 vote-receiving causes will be announced on June 7, and a $25,000 grant will be awarded to each of the affiliated nonprofits.
Ready for Life supports former foster care youth in homelessness prevention, education and employment, and lifeline support networks through programs such as emergency food and supplies; housing assistance; health navigation and mental health counseling; tutoring and job coaching; financial literacy; and an incredibly impactful mentoring program. State Farm Neighborhood Assist is a crowd-sourced philanthropic initiative that empowers communities to identify issues in their neighborhoods. The State Farm Review Committee selected the top 200 finalists from 4,000 submissions.

Ready for Life (RFL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides support, resources and guidance former foster care youth need to successfully transition to adulthood.
