1
Crisis Stabilization
Day 1 at Ready for Life usually focuses on helping young adults get back on their feet and stay there. From providing laundry and a shower in our Day Stop to food, new clothing, and housing support, our goal is to help young adults meet their basic needs so they can focus on the future.

2
Lifeline & Support Services
You can be that “one person who cares." Mentors are life-changing for former foster care young adults. As a mentor in our Be the One program, you help brainstorm solutions, explore new possibilities, and provide the consistency young adults need to be successfully independent.

3
Life Skills & Learning Gaps
Former foster care young adults have big goals for their education and careers. As a volunteer at Ready for Life, you can help young adults learn the skills they need to further their education or land a job, including being accountable and setting goals that will shape their future.
