Each year, our Home for the Holidays program, part of Ready for Life's Family Traditions initiative, showcases the powerful connection between the former foster young adults we serve and the volunteers, donors, and supporters that uphold our mission.
Home for the Holidays embodies our mission to support former foster youth in all aspects of their transition to independence, including creating a sense of belonging in the world when they need it most. At our Home for the Holidays annual celebration, we create a warm, family atmosphere where young adults and their children feel truly at home. This year, we made cookies, shared meals, passed out personalized gifts, and made so many new memories as a Ready for Life Family.
