Our RFL Family came Home for the Holidays thanks to YOU

“I wish someone had told me what it would be like to spend the Holidays alone. When you’re in foster care, someone has to take you. When you age out, no one does.”

- These words were from a Ready for Life former foster youth years ago

Thank you to all who helped make our life changing Home for the Holidays event possible. Because of you, the former foster youth at RFL and their children know they are very loved, and that they belong. Thanks to you, no youth was left hungry or without a gift, they made fun memories to outshine the hard ones from their childhoods, and they started their own family traditions that will go on for many generations to come.

It takes a LOT to create a warm memory to help fill in the hurt in the hearts of former foster youth.

Thousands of hours shopping, wrapping, and checking lists (twice!)
Tens of thousands of dollars in donated gifts and sponsorships

A very special thank you to Mike Brown and all at Santa’s Angels; our RFL volunteers Kate Linde and Lou Ann Lee; News Channel 8 and Fox 13 for sharing what we’re up to; and to each and every one of you for your hearts to help make the Holidays special for those we serve.
